The ticket matched all five numbers from Tuesday night’s drawing and was only missing the mega number.

SANTA ANA – A ticket with the winning Mega Millions lottery numbers of 6, 15, 19, 23 and 40 was sold at Ta-Go Coffee, 5210 W. First Street in Santa Ana, missing only the mega number of 5 to be eligible for the jackpot of $14 million.

The ticket was the only ticket to match all five numbers in Tuesday’s drawing and is worth $249,182, officials said.

The chance of matching five numbers is 1 in 3,904,701, while the chance of matching all five numbers and the mega number is 1 in 175,711,536, according to the California lottery website.

Orange County winners can redeem their tickets at the California Lottery District Office in Santa Ana, 3400 W. Warner Ave., suite F. Winners have 180 days to claim the prize before the cash is donated to California public schools. Last year, $1.3 billion in lottery purchases was donated to the public school system, making it the 12th consecutive year that more than $1 billion has been transferred to public education, authorities said.

The Mega Millions jackpot is up to $22 million for the next drawing, at 7:45 p.m. Friday.
